Showing poorly installed railing from contractor at my house. The contractor stated he and his crew were unable to secure the railing and I could hire someone else to secure it and re-use the parts. He claimed he has installed this type of failing before. He ruined 3 of the four sleeves but adding extra screws, he broke all of the rail brackets on the top railing so they cannot be re-used. He claimed to use tapcon screws in all the braces but only one had them but because the holes were drilled to big they were useless. The other posts all used wood screws. The posts were not pressure treated so they cannot be re-used.
